| What is SiegeXXL? |
SiegeXXL is a mod for Unreal Tournament that adds elements of strategy to the Unreal Tournament game engine. It can be played on all Capture The Flag maps - where the flag is replaced by a 'Base Core'. The object of the game is to destroy the opposite team's Base Core. The game is based around collecting 'RU', or 'Resource Units', in order to build up your base. The more you build, the more maximum RU you have. The more RU you can collect, the more you can build, and so on. Building more also helps strenghten your base from attack, thereby defending your Base Core. You can increase your RU through a number of different means -
You start the game with only a piston, an Enforcer and a 'Constructor'. The Constuctor is the method of accessing Siege's menu - scroll through your weapons until you reach the sniper (or select your sniper rifle via the appopriate key) - then select it once more. Your HUD should now be displaying your Constructor. You can scroll through the various options in your Constructor by using the right mouse button, and selecting the appropriate option with the left mouse button. Base Core Health: 100 The Base Core is your top priority in Siege. Protect yours, and kill theirs. Upgrading it to level 5 will help your RU rise faster, and make your base core harder to kill. |

Resources RU: +25 These are scatterd around the map at the beginning the game. Collect these as your #1 priority. |

Container RU: 125 The Container is the staple of the Siege player. It cannot be walked through - building these will block off your base and increase your maximum RU. Containers will also repair buildings created nearby it. |

ContainerX RU: 750 The ContainerX is similiar to the Container, but it is far harder to kill. It will therefore retain your RU for far longer. |

Booster RU: 200 The Booster will allow you to jump much higher, when you walk over it. It's main purpose is to allow you to jump over obstacles, such as containers, or reach inaccessible plances. The higher it's upgraded, the higher you jump. |

Super Booster RU: 800 The Super Booser will allow you to jump much further, when you walk over it. Super boosters will take you from one base to another in CTF-Face, and about 1/3 of the way through CTF-CivilWar - fall damage applies. Landing on the sloping edge of the sn1per portal in Face after boosting will cause you no fall damage! Five Super Boosters in the same place will boost you all the way to the top of a base in Face. |

Protector RU: 100 The Protector will fire bolts at your opposition, reducing their health to a minimum of 10. The more the Protector is upgraded, the bigger the salvo. Protectors can shoot through Containers, and will fire at Base Cores. |

Super Protector RU: 500 The Super Protector is based upon the Protector, but it is harder to kill, costs more RU and has a higher accuracy of shot. Super Protectors won't however fire at Base Cores. |

Guardian RU: 400 The Guardian is a new Fortification that damages any opposite team player when they come near it, depending on how much its upgraded. The closer the other team come to it, the more health is lost, to a minimum of 10. It also knocks the opposition around a little, making it harder for them to aim. |

Platform RU: 150 The Platform provides a method of building off-map - only one platform is allowed per player. Platforms can be placed near enemy bases, out of the way, to teleport to - or can be summoned away from view and have nukes built on them. |

Supplier RU: 300 The Supplier will provide you with weapons if you stand in it. The more you upgrade the Supplier, the better the weapon type it will supply you with. Upgrading will also supply you weapons faster, and increase your ammo and armour. Only one person can use a Supplier at once. |

SupplierX RU: 800 The SupplierX is based on the Supplier. The SupplierX offers reduces weapon types, but it is far harder to kill. Indeed it can survive several nuke attacks. It costs significantly more RU than a Supplier though. |

Health Pod RU: 250 The Health Pod will provide the player standing in it more health and armour. The more you upgrade it, the faster it will heal. |

Shrinker RU: 1500 This object may not appear in your version of SiegeXXL. The Shrinker will reduce the size of the player standing in it, depending upon how much it has been upgraded. The Shrinking will allow players to run under standard defences, which is why it is so costly. |

Super Supplier RU: 1500 The Super Supplier is also based upon the Supplier, but far costlier. It does however provide all ammo and all armour very quickly, and is shareable unlike the Supplier. It is also very difficult to destroy. |

Super Health Pod RU: 1500 The Super Health Pod is based upon the Health Pod, but again costs far more RU and is much harder to destroy. It also allows many people of the same team inside it at once. |

Shield Belt RU: 250 The Shield Belt provides the player with enhanced protection against attack. It cannot be upgraded. |

Jump Boots RU: 350 The Jump Boots have a short life span of three jumps, but will allow those who collect it far greater jumping power. Useful for getting over other team's defences! |

Invisibility RU: 800 Invisibility will render you virtually undetectable by any other player. It lasts up to 1 min 50 secs at level 5. |

Warhead RU: 1300 Once of the most destructive weapons in Siege, nevertheless a Warhead will take a lot of RU to build and is very easy to destroy while it's building. Primary fire will lauch in a straight like from your location. Secondary fire allows the Warhead to be controlled. |

Invincible Warhead RU: 2000 The Invincible Warhead is the daddy of Siege weapons. The 'invincible' is somewhat of a misnomer though, it is possible to destroy though very hard. Both Warheads can be destroy in flight. |

Damage Amplifier RU: 2000 The Damage Amplifer does exactly what it says. It amplifies the damage you wreak upon others. |

Teleporter RU: 500 each The Teleporter object will allow you to translocate around the map. A player is allowed one pair of teleporters each, which can be placed anywhere on the map. Having build both, the all players of the same team can teleport through it. Teleporters are susceptible to damage - hurting one will also hurt the other, though by half as much |

TeleNetwork RU: 100 The TeleNetwork allows the player to use the Teleporters as a network. The player can telelport to every Teleporter their team owns, in series. Useful for when your destination teleporter has been killed, or at the beginning of the game when RU is scarce. |

Mine RU: 125 The Mine is a lot more inconspicuous than other Siege objects (no glow, very little animation) to allow to be more of a stealth weapon. The more its upgraded, the more it hurts the other team - explosions won't hurt the team that built it. It useful on its own, or can be cheekily hidden under other buildings such as containers, teleporters, etc. |

Super Mine RU: 750 The Super Mine is a Mine that is expensive in terms of RU, but doesn't immediately destroy itself on detonation. Instead the Super Mine will reduce in health, depending upon how much it is upgraded. A level 5 Super Mine will last approx 5 detonations before destroying itself. It can be repaired in all the usual ways! |

Rocket Cannon RU: 600 The Rocket Cannon quick to build, though can be easily destroyed during its building. Once complete, it will fire a salvo of 15 rockets in the direction of your opposition. |

Bio bomb RU: 500 The Bio Bomb will, once built, produce a 360 degree shower of bio-slime with a reasonable radius. It will destroy itself thereafter. |

Jetpack RU: 650 The Jetpack will allow you to fly around the map, by hitting jump twice in quick succession. It had limited fuel, but will replenish itself when you're not flying. The more you upgrade it, the more fuel it has - allowing you to fly longer distances. |

Super Jetpack RU: 1500 The Super Jetpack is based upon the Jetpack, but it has infinite fuel. However, it's more than double the RU to build. |

Toxin Suit RU: 350 The Toxin Suit will prevent all damange from bio-slime, whether it be from a pool of it or from the bio weapon |

Asbestos Suit RU: 350 The Asbestos Suit will prevent all lava damage. Very useful in CTF-LavaGiant! |
