There are several features admins may set in Siege that will ease players' experience, or make things easier to manage. In order for the below actions to work, you are required to have administrative privileges on the server you're playing on.
- Team Remove Protection - you can only remove other players' Containers, plus all your own normal buildings. Excessive removing of Containers will result in a kick. A warning will appear if a player removes more than half the allowable objects.
[SiegeXXLz.sgRemoveProt]
Charge=4 - the number of objects a player is allowed to move before being kicked.
FlashCount=20 - the time measured between removes.
- Supplier Immunity - this option provides Supplier damage immunisation against attack for a certain period of time.
[SiegeXXLz.SiegeGI]
SupplierProtection=True - turn on Supplier protection
[SiegeXXLz.sgSupplier]
SuppProtectTimeSecs=600 - the time in seconds the Supplier is immune to enemy file.
bAnnounceImmunity=True - setting to determine whether Siege announces Supplier messages.
- Siege Spectator List - you can limit those spectators to a list of known users and IP addresses, configurable in the unrealtournament.ini file, or in-game.
[SiegeXXLz.SiegeGI]
bPreventSpectate=True - Invoke restricted Spectator access to the server.
There are admin level console functions available for ease of use. You will need to log into your server as admin - once done, the following commands are available:
Admin SiegeSpecHelp - displays help
Admin SiegeSpecAdd [PlayerName],[Player IP] - add player/ip to server
Admin SiegeSpecDel [PlayerName] - del player/ip from server
Admin SiegeSpecList - list server spectators
Ensure the bPreventSpectate setting in the game type is set to true! The players and IP's are associated to the game type, so you may configure different players for normal Siege and Freebuild games.
- Resource Limit - set the amount of resources that appear on startup of game.
[SiegeXXLz.SiegeGI]
NumResources=0.2 - the number of resources .
